How to wear all black without being gothic.

I love to wear all black. But in the summer, this can be very tricky. Last week, with two events in a day and a tropical heat in the city made me think about how can I pull off black on black outfit. Because of the tropical temperature, wearing a sleeveless t-shirt can be justified to a drink celebrations in a luxury hotels and for a fashion show in an open space site. But I don’t want to look like a person that going for a day on the beach look. So I think it is the most right to wear my tank top with thin trousers and finish it with an avant-garde shoes from Rick Owens so it will fit to the dress code Summer Chic for the Disaronno Terrace summer drinks. Since the second event, the MOAM Collective catwalk show was later after 7 at night, I brought my skinny fit denim jacket to compensate my look when the temperature dropped after 9pm.

What do you think about my look? Did I pull it stylishly or do you think that it can be better? And how do you think can make this look even better?
