5 Talents 10 Inspiring coaches and 3 new Partners
MOAM collective starts this early 2015 a new group of young designers for its second edition. Five talented designers from different schools and practices in the Netherlands are working together on one collection that will present to the public this medio 2015. New coaches names this year for this edition MOAM Collective include Viktor & Rolf, KLM and Philips. This year process will be characterized by innovation, sustainability, craftsmanship and collaborations.
The designers of MOAM collective 2 are Anbasja Blanken (HKU), Barbara Langendijk (ArtEZ), Maartje Peeters (AMFI), Tijme Veldt (Rietveld) and Hanna Wouda (KABK).
Every week the team is assisted by three fashion pioneers; Frans Ankoné, Peter Leferink and Mariette Hoitink. In addition, the collective will be coached by Viktor&Rolf, Mart Visser, Claes Iversen, Cecile Narinx, John de Greef, Georgette Koning, Marly Nijssen and Saskia Stockler.
MOAM new partners are PHILIPS PerfectCare, KLM, Textielmuseum and its TextielLab and additionally MOAM Foundation has received grants for MOAM collective 2015 from the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts and the Master Fund Koetsier.
MOAM is a multidisciplinary platform, founded by Martijn Nekoui that links young creative talent to iconic names in the Dutch fashion industry.
