Kiehl’s gives back. Last April 22th, my favorite skin care brand Kiehl’s launched its special edition of Ultra Facial Cream. This special edition has a special picture drawn by Selwyn Senatori. The launch held at the pop-up Kiehl’s by Selwyn Senatori art café on the 5th floor of the prestigious department store De Bijenkorf in Amsterdam for the Dutch media and their intimate crowds. And I have the visual reports here.
Selwyn Senatori received the first limited edition Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream with a picture of his own artwork. This facial cream is one of Kiehl’s products I use. On behalf of Trees for All, Iris Gardien gave Selwyn symbolic first tree; a pear tree. In this coöperation Kiehl’s going back to her roots. Connects with this particular product Kiehl’s, past, present and future. Where the year 1851 John Kiehl, as botanist, his pharmacy named after a legendary pear tree on the corner, Kiehl’s put up this year to go for a green future worth living by planting trees in the Kiehl’s Forest.
For both Kiehl’s and Selwyn Senatori, Trees for All is locally central, and so we chose to near Amsterdam a complete Kiehl’s forest planting. For each selling on limited edition Ultra Facial Cream Selwyn Senatori, Kiehl’s donate one tree to the Tress for All Foundation. The first 100 trees are donated and the goal is to plant 2000 to 4000 trees in the Kiehl’s Forest.
The Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream by Selwyn Senatori cost Euro 24,- and for every sold item Kiehl’s donate one tree to the Trees for All foundation.
