The first question is “How many plants do you own in your masculine home?” If I am the one answering it, I can proudly say, “I have a good amount of plants living in our male household.”
Plants are for women (click play above to see the Vitamin Plant for Men video or find it below this post)
Many think that plants are for women, which is so not true. It is a misconception that is not fit for this era anymore and is such an outdated statement. Men love plants as much as women too, just in a different way; we gentleman think differently than how women think. Simple and easy are the keywords when we try to find the right plant for our man caves. And plants really do change the look and feel of our rooms.
Flowers and Orchids
We do love color, but choosing flowers for the man cave is rarely done. I don’t use flowers, in fact, I do personally love Orchids, particularly in white. So, white orchids are my choice to make the room feel one step sexier and to brighten up the space. Another positive is that Orchids are very strong and low maintenance. Believe it or not, these orchids have been here in this room for more than 6 years. Orchids always make me feel happier and remind me where I came from…somewhere tropical.
Easy plants are for men
Yes, at least easy plants are for me. Besides orchids, which are low maintenance, I prefer the trendy Cactus (succulents). The cactus is a member of the plant family Cactaceae within the order Caryophyllales. My next choices are Echeveria (a sturdy succulent that it can take a beating. He is originally from Mexico and you find him in a range of different shades), Sarracenia ‘Juthatip Soper‘ (a carnivore plant) and Phlebodium aureum ‘Blue Star’ for the apartment. The ‘Blue Star’ is also known as air purifier plants. I think the Blue Star will help to refresh and lighten the air inside the apartment where my husband, my Labrador dog and I living together.
Those men who have plants in their home come across as sexier, and more caring. This is true! Especially men who have plants and a handsome dog in their home!
The Joy of Plants
Thejoyofplants.co.uk inspires people to brighten up their homes and their lives with a bit of green. In this collection, the focus is on men, which are often too generous and find themselves drowning their plant in excessive water or give their plants too much space so that the soil is dried out – dryer than the Californian desert!
Thejoyofplants.co.uk has created a beautifully designed concept collection of masculine plants in sturdy pharmacist pots.
Vitamin plants for men – easy plants, of course! – are such a good, sturdy range to decorate our man cave!
