Earlier this month, I published a review on a hybrid smartwatch, The Fossil Q Crewmaster. Just right before Christmas, I received a new hybrid smartwatch from CoolBlue to be reviewed. So, this watch is the Skagen Hagen Connected Hybrid Smartwatch. Just like the Fossil Q Crewmaster, this Skagen Hagen Connected has no digital displays which mean all the notifications are in the format of gestures of the hands of the watch.
But let’s admit this, the hybrid smartwatch Skagen Hagen Connected is such a modern, wearable innovative item which is a rose for the heart of minimalist. If one smartwatch can make me said ‘oh so love it’ at first sight in term of design, this is the one.
So what is in it? This Skagen Hagen Connected hybrid smartwatch tracks the activities such as steps and sleep, and it also notifies the wearer when there is an email or text message coming in. The watch automatically updates to the correct time, and date and also complete with multiple timezones which are a cool feature for travelers. There is no charging required and a possibility to create a customizable link connection. The Skagen smartwatch will sync wirelessly with the SKAGEN app.
But then, what features are this watch not having? If you are looking for a stopwatch, microphone, speakers and phone call answering connection and GPS connection in this watch, disappointments will be guaranteed. But for me, those functions and features are not essential especially after seeing the design of the watch itself.
Please watch this very helpful how-to video created by Skagen Denmark to learn how to set your Skagen Hagen Connected hybrid smartwatch using the SKAGEN app to get the most of this fine wristwatch.
